Coal Dust Removal System Awarded by Polish Ministry of Labor
Telesto’s SCRUBmist system for eliminating dust from the atmosphere in coal mines was selected for a main prize in the 37th edition of the Polish Ministry of Labor’s national competition dedicated to improving work conditions in industrial settings.
The competition submittal “Mist System with Mesh Traps For Fighting Dust Hazards” from the Halemba-Wirek coal mine, prepared by Zdzisław Augustyniak, Grzegorz Jurkiewicz and Ryszard Roman, which featured the Telesto SCRUBmist system, was selected for 3rd prize in the “Technical and Organizational Solutions” category.
Telesto congratulates the Halemba-Wirek team and is pleased that its mist solution has gained the recognition of our customer and the Ministry of Labor.

Another Telesto First- Telesto Waste Decontamination Chamber
On June 23, 2009 Telesto’s first Decontamination Chamber was installed at the Waste Treatment Facility managed by the Słupsk Community Services Agency in Bierkow, Poland. The system was specially designed for the Agency for the purpose of deodorizing and decontaminating harmful substances at its site where materials are sorted. Telesto’s patented technology is used to atomize a specialized decontamination agent manufactured by Voigt PPHU- a leading producer of professional-grade chemical substances and distribute the misted agent throughout the chamber interior.
